We guarantee the quality of the products, our passion and expertise in our craft. You should feel nothing short of royalty on your special day. Whilst it is not compulsory to have a preview session of your hair and makeup, we encourage you to have a makeup and/or hair preview so you can feel pampered, see how your hair and makeup will look and discuss the elements of your day. This will ensure your look is perfectly matched along with addressing all your needs and any concerns. Most importantly, we want you to enjoy every step of this special process and look in the mirror and feel the most beautiful you have ever felt in your life.

Terms & Conditions:
Please take note of the following important TERMS & CONDITIONS when booking hair and makeup artists through Aurum Bride. We encourage you to read these User Terms carefully as they are a legal document and, upon making your booking, you agree to be bound by these User Terms. *It is the responsibility of the client who books to understand, agree and be responsible for all booking conditions, including all payments being made by the specified dates.

Timing:
Time management is of the essence therefore adherence to booking times is critical in ensuring that Aurum Bride delivers the service you expect and will be strictly adhered to. Should unforeseen circumstances arise, the onus is on the bride/client to advise Aurum Bride as soon as practical. Aurum Bride is not responsible if desired completion time is not met due to client/group/wedding party delays. Aurum Bride will notify the client of her arrival time one to two weeks prior to the booking, (brides/clients do not choose the time at which Aurum Bride artists arrive with the exception being for preview appointments and exclusive bookings which are advised in conjunction with the client). If Aurum Bride is set back due to delays caused by you or your group/wedding party, and if we are requested and required to overstay, (provided we are able to stay pending our other appointments), the client will be charged $110 per half hour exceeded per artist required to overstay the appointment in half hour increments only, (min. $110).

We cannot promise specific times for bookings that have not booked us on an exclusive basis, but we will aim to have you ready on or before the time you need to be ready by as communicated by you at the time of the booking. If you have a particular schedule, please advise this at the time of booking or as soon as possible so we can take this into account when allocating our bookings.

If you wish to secure Aurum Bride hair and/or makeup artists on an exclusive basis, should you wish for us to promise you a particular time, (please firstly request our availability), then our exclusive rate will be quoted for a service of this type. Our exclusive rate covers our artist(s) minimum expected earnings and we guarantee your allocated artist will not accept another wedding party on that date. Please contact us to request and discuss.

Aurum Bride artists timing varies depending on the individual artist, the service required and technical individual requirements of the client. When allocating service duration for wedding/group bookings Aurum Bride bases this on the usual time required for such artists. Master Makeup Artists and Master Hair Stylists are roughly 30min per person, Senior Makeup Artists and Senior Hair Stylists are roughly 45min per person.

Pricing:
Please note that all prices are subject to change. If you have already paid a security deposit then you retain the rates invoiced at the time of booking for the respective booking.

General Bookings & Previews:
Bookings are subject to availability; please contact Aurum Bride to confirm availability. In order to secure your general/preview booking you will be required to pay a non-refundable and non-transferable security deposit which is deducted from the total cost of the booking and will not be refundable or transferable under any circumstances. The security deposit amount is calculated by Aurum Bride based on the size/requirements of the booking. The remainder of the service must be paid two weeks in advance of the service date or the client risks the appointment being unattended. We do not hold any hair or makeup bookings that have not paid their security deposit.

A standard preview for one person is a 45 minute appointment which is equivalent to producing one hair or makeup look with very minimal changes. An extended trial for one person is a 1hr 30 minute appointment which is equivalent to producing either two hair looks in one sitting (style pending) or two makeup looks in one sitting (style pending) or one makeup look with major tweaks/changes or one makeup look with major tweaks/changes. An extended preview for makeup does not fully remove the makeup base for the second look; the only removal and replacement to the second look is to the eyes, brows and lips, and only one set of lashes are used for both looks. If you’d like to try a second lash style it is an extra $20. It is recommended that you bring a similar photo example for clarity if available.

Preview bookings do not guarantee or secure hair and/or makeup services for your wedding date. If you would like to secure our services for your wedding date you need to request our availability and ask to book this appointment specifically as we treat previews and weddings as separate appointments. We are available on either an “exclusive” or “per person” basis. We quote/invoice on a per person basis unless we have been specifically requested to quote/invoice on an exclusive basis.

We aim to book the same artist for the preview as we do for the wedding day but this is sometimes not possible in instances where the artist has since been secured elsewhere prior to the client securing the wedding appointment, the artist has become unwell, injured, family emergency, excused from Aurum Bride or has been secured on an exclusive basis (priority) by another client. For more information on artist scheduling & allocations please see “Other” terms below.

Wedding & Group Bookings:
Bookings are subject to availability; please contact Aurum Bride to confirm availability. In order to secure your wedding/group booking on a “per person” or “exclusive” basis you will be required to pay a non-refundable security deposit which is deducted from the total cost of the booking. The security deposit amount is calculated by Aurum Bride based on the size/requirements of the booking and will not be refundable or transferrable under any circumstances. The remainder of the service must be paid in full two weeks ahead of the booking date or the client risks the appointment being unattended. 90 days notice must be given if you wish to cancel or reschedule a wedding/group booking. Failure to do so may mean you will be charged the full cost of the booking. We do not hold any bookings that have not paid their security deposit.

Service & Office Hours:
Our usual service hours are 7 days by appointment 6:00am – 4:00pm
Our office hours are Tuesday – Saturday 9:00am – 4:30pm

Any service bookings that require us to start you outside of these hours may be subject to a once only fee of $100 per artist required to work outside of these hours. Special considerations may be made for commercial or very large bookings and are decided at the discretion of Aurum Bride on a case by case basis.

Payments:
The client scheduling the booking will be responsible for full payment of all services in the event that other people in the wedding party/group do not pay their portion. For all wedding/group hair and makeup bookings the full remaining balance is due 30 days ahead of your booking date. All other small appointments such a event, formal, preview sessions are due 14 days prior.

To make an advance payment via credit card please request to pay via credit card so Aurum Bride can update your invoice with the required 2.2% surcharge and send the invoice electronically for the credit card portal. All credit card payments attract a 2.2% surcharge. Please allow at least 3 business days for electronic funds to clear. Electronic payments that do not clear before the booking date will not be accepted as payment of the respective invoice.

Appointments are only tentatively held for 48hrs from the time and date the invoice was issued. After this the appointment may be voided if a security deposit has not been received by Aurum Bride and offered to another interested party without prior notice. If you are having difficulty viewing, receiving or paying an invoice, please contact Aurum Bride immediately. We recommended that able clients send a transaction receipt as proof of payment.

Secured group bookings which are not paid in full by the due date risk termination and will not be attended. We will try to reach you to remind you of payment via your email and/or phone number you have provided us with. Failure to pay the full due balance will result in a final letter of demand which will be emailed to the address supplied, which if after seven days of this letter being sent full payment is still not made, we will pursue legal action to retrieve those funds plus late payment interest of 7.4% per month overdue and any legal fees we incur whilst trying to recover the monies owed to us.

Refunds:
Aurum Bride does not offer refunds for any completed services; therefore, if you are in any way dissatisfied, the onus is on the client to notify the artist(s) whilst on location. If you are dissatisfied with their response, please contact Aurum Bride Director Rachel Morecraft immediately on 0415 212 313. Please note that all accounts enquiries and refunds can only be answered by Rachel Morecraft. Should you wish to meet us ahead of time and test our work in advance of a booking for your big occasion we highly recommend that you see us for a Preview prior to booking a wedding appointment with us. Previews and Wedding/Group bookings are always treated as separate bookings, so Preview appointments do not secure wedding/other appointments. The onus is on the client to ensure they check availability, book in by requesting the appointment and paying the security deposit to avoid disappointment.

The security deposit is strictly non-refundable and non-transferrable. There are no refunds of any monies paid toward any bookings where there has been any partial/full cancellation made within the three-month period leading up to the booking/wedding date.

Cancellations:
Please confirm your numbers carefully at the time of booking as we don’t offer any reductions at any time for hair and makeup services. Should someone in your wedding/group booking cancel at any time they are welcome to be replaced with someone else, e.g. a guest or relative.

You will be charged the full amount of the service since the booking duration on the requested date has been specifically allocated to you which results in lost earnings/bookings for us. It is your responsibility as the client to communicate and make the other parties aware of our rates and terms of service. Cancellations without the aforementioned prior notice will be charged the full cost of the booking. All security deposits are strictly non-refundable and non-transferrable. This also applies to weddings that have been cancelled due to personal relationship or personal financial problems.

Cancellation of any booking by you must be communicated in writing, by post or email and will only be confirmed upon receipt of this. The complete security deposit will be retained by us regardless of notice given due to administration and loss of other bookings caused by allocating your appointment.

Travel/Parking Fees:
A travel fee may be incurred depending on distance required to travel. If in the event that any hotel/motel and parking fees are incurred as result of the location of the booking, these will be passed on to the client. If onsite parking is not available you must notify Aurum Bride immediately so other arrangements can be made. Please be aware that parking delays caused by the client may result in the artists inability to start the service on time, finish the total service booked or get to the service at all. We recommend that onsite parking be provided to us to avoid disappointment.

Extra people wanting styling:
If any additional people require styling on the day, but do not have a booking, this is not normally a problem and payment can be made via our credit card portal at the time of the appointment prior to us starting the service. You will need to contact our office on 0415 212 313 to make the arrangements; keep in mind that this will attract a 2.2% credit card surcharge on the extra service(s). It is recommended to give Aurum Bride notice if others in attendance want styling so arrangements can be made. Aurum Bride recommends that numbers for styling are confirmed in advance to avoid potential disappointment where we may not be able to cater to extras.

Exclusions:
Junior makeups that have been offered on a complimentary basis are for girls aged 12 years or younger and only include face moisturize, eye shimmer, powder blush and lip balm/gloss application only. Age appropriate makeup is for girls aged 14 years or younger and includes light foundation and concealing, blush, mascara, light eye shadow, highlighter and lip gloss only. Any other required applications will be charged for at the current “per person” or “exclusive” rate, depending on how you booked us.

Full makeup includes the usual applications to the face area and neck. Any other required applications will be charged for and quoted prior to application in the areas not included in our usual service, including but not limited to the back, chest and remainder of the body, particularly where extensive works and product applications are required.

Additional requests such as glitters, specialty lashes, gemstones, bold/unusual pigments and other special mediums need to be requested in advance which we will quote for. We do not carry specialty items unless requested. Please provide ample notice so arrangements can be made.

Should special or tattoo coverage be required please advise Aurum Bride in advance so this can be discussed for time and cost to be quoted.

Health & Safety:
Aurum Bride is not, under any circumstances, responsible for any allergic reactions to products used. The onus is on the client to give advance notification to Aurum Bride if you or any of your group/wedding party have particular hypersensitivity that you are aware of. Should you bring your own product that you are familiar with, then Aurum Bride would be happy to use the product. We cannot make guarantees surrounding quality for product(s) you supply for us to use.

The makeup chair provided by most of our makeup artists has a weight rating of 100kg only. Should this not be suitable please notify us at the time of your appointment or in advance and we will find another suitable chair in utmost discretion. Aurum Bride artists are under no obligation to ask clients their weight; the onus is on the client to advise of any people that will need alternative seating. We accept no liability for any claims arising from weight exclusions regarding our makeup chairs.

Aurum Bride reserves the right to stop work if there is any smoking in or entering the vicinity of the makeup / hair styling area for the health and safety of our team. Aurum Bride artists reserve the right to refuse service on any clients displaying contagious viral symptoms including but not limited to vomiting, diarrhea and suspicious rash to ensure health of our staff and our other clients.

Children in attendance of the booking are to be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. Children are not to be in the service area at any time unless they are having a service and are being supervised by a responsible adult. This is for their own safety; we use very hot styling tools, operate electrical equipment and have very heavy equipment which can tip if not used correctly. Aurum Bride is not a baby sitter service and is not responsible for watching any children. Aurum Bride accepts no liability from any claims arising from any children’s injury while in the service area.

Other:
Damages, theft or contamination to Aurum Bride artist(s) property caused by any person, (including children), require on the spot compensation of equipment plus shipping costs of that equipment. This applies to damaged or contaminated items. As children cannot compensate, their responsible adult, (or The Client), will be held responsible for on the spot compensation.

In the event that the original scheduled Aurum Bride artist(s) are not able to attend the appointment to provide hair and/or makeup services on the scheduled booking date, Aurum Bride will make every attempt to replace the hair and/or makeup artist(s). However, if we are unsuccessful, the limit of liability is a full refund of all monies already paid for the hair and/or makeup for the affected date only.

We do our best to ensure the products we use at a trial are also used on the wedding day but please be aware that there are situations beyond our control that may prevent this, such as a supplier discontinuing a product or a supplier delay in restocking a product. We will always aim to replace the product with something similar.

Clients acknowledge that Aurum Bride may use any photographs or images taken for portfolio, website and any promotions.
